Defining embedded computing is not something that can be done easily or at all really. Even the smartest and most trained computer people in the world can not pinpoint one specific definition for the term. This is because it can apply to different situations and have different meanings. I am not going to pretend that I fully understand the concept. I do get that embedded systems are computers systems in which a specific function is performed it. This is usually embedded in the hardware of the computer. I really cannot explain much further than that, but at least I know that much now.
