My Best Friend who lives down a few blocks from us had the worst experience with Water Damage in Draper Utah due to the flooding creek. She naively thought that the water wouldn’t reach her house so she did not even prepare. She ended up repairing her whole basement on top of losing a bunch of family heirlooms she inherited when her parents had passed. She also lost all of her family photos including all the ones of her parents. She moved out shortly afterwards because she was to upset by all the ruin memories to live there anymore. If she had prepared for the worst the damage could have been far less.
