The purpose of the electric bedstead is to make things easy for the patient. The two basic kind of hospital bedstead is the lower and adjustable and hi-low. Adjustable bedsteads have a unique feature;   it was built with a box where they put the electric motor that connects to different sides of the bed. The main goal of these bedsteads is to change the position in different ways. Hi-low bedsteads are used to transfer patient out of the bed, it lifts the body of the patient. Mostly,   the size of the adjustable bedstead is king size to optimize the position that gives comfort to the patient.
