A 2 minute fix for the Application Error: The memory could not be read
January 24th, 2010 . by adminHave you faced the error: “The instruction referenced memory at <address>. Application Error: The memory could not be read“? This error is related to Symantec Norton and might be troubling you with a pop-up every 10 to 20 minutes.
There is a quick 2-minute temporary solution to this error: go to Start > Run and type in services.msc. Double-click on the Norton internet Security. Thereafter, set all the three responses to “Restart the Service” in the Recovery Tab in the dialogue box. For now, until Symantec sort the ccSvcHst.exe out, this is a handy solution so you don’t have to restart your PC to get Norton running again.
